Contract for Deposit

 

I understand and agree that by placing a deposit of $100, I am entering into a contract with Rich
and Andrea O'Connell of Red River Retrievers.  By submitting my deposit I am agreeing to
purchase the described puppy (color ______________, gender _______________,)  at the agreed
purchase price of _____________.  I understand that this deposit is nonrefundable after the puppies
have been born, with the limitations listed below.   If I am unable to purchase a puppy, I agree
that the deposit amount will be forwarded to the price of a puppy when I am able to purchase one
from a future litter.  I am entering this contract with the understanding that the puppy will be
from the breeding described: (name of dam)___________________  (name of sire)_______________ (whelp date)_______________, in good health, with AKC
papers, first shots, a health guarantee and bill of sale.   I can expect the puppy to be available on or around the date the puppies turn 8 weeks of age, unless other arrangements are made.

 

Limitations: Deposit may be refundable in the following circumstances:

1)Any time prior to birth.

2)If the puppy of the color and gender you prefer is not in the litter as expected.

3)If the puppy has any health problems

4)If you made the deposit sight unseen and upon meeting the puppies, they do not exhibit the
personality traits you are looking for.  In this situation, we ask that you visit twice, as various
factors affect how the puppy acts at any given time, such as whether he is tired or hungry, or has
just been fed, etc.

 

This contract is not valid until we, Rich or Andrea, have communicated with you regarding the availability of puppies, our approval of your intent to adopt a puppy, and your verbal confirmation that you would like to make a reservation.

 

If paying via Paypal, by submitting your payment, you are agreeing to the above terms.  Please
acknowledge that you agree to terms in the comments section of your Paypal invoice.

 

If sending a check, please print this, and sign and date below, and enclose with your check.
Please keep a copy for your records as well.
